This may end up being a long review because I have an endless amount of good things to say about this company.My issue began a few months ago when my old A/C started grinding metal on metal when it ran. Upon looking this up I found that it is dangerous and needed to immediately be shut off. This was about 1 A.M. I called around to many 24 hour A/C companies who either told me the next day or just didn’t pick up. I feel extremely lucky to have called 1-800 Air or Jackrabbit as they are now renamed. I spoke to a female receptionist who couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. She told me they could have someone out within about an hour. I waited by the door and saw the truck pull up about 30 minutes in. Not to mention I received in that time two texts; a confirmation of the appointment and a picture of Tony along with a profile type description with all of his info. Due to Covid I feel I should say that throughout everything Tony and anyone else who came to work at my home wore a mask and socially distanced. Okay so Tony arrived and introduced himself, very very polite and friendly, I showed him the unit and he told me it needed a new motor. Up front he told me the cost of the labor the visit and the part, which to me was almost nothing compared to what I assumed the cost would be. It took him maybe 45 minutes to repair the unit although he informed me it wouldn’t last regardless. So I scheduled him to come back out for a consultation the following day. Again he showed up early and I did receive multiple texts beforehand from the company to confirm everything. He quoted everything I won’t go too deep into what needed to be done. Two units and ductwork all got replaced. The price was fair for the size of the job and we financed through a couple banks. We were told the job would take about five days to complete so they put us up in a hotel of our choosing and we returned today to a spotless and cool home. They had a cleaning company come and thoroughly clean everything, not just where they were working. Before they started they had a pest inspection in the attic to make sure nothing would ruin their work. Elizabeth who is the owner or manager was texting with me the entire time over the waiting period before the work and while we were waiting. I felt at no point worried about the work they were doing or about the people who would be in my home while I was absent. Wholeheartedly, I can say that I trust this company with any of my business. If they did other home improvement projects that my own company didn’t do I would use them 100% without a doubt. The level of communication is something I have never experienced from the many companies I’ve had to work with since purchasing any property. I highly recommend 1-800 Air/Jackrabbit and I’d even go so far as to say your search ends at this review. Do not hesitate to call, you have my word you will not be disappointed.

Had both my "rooftop" compressor and air handle replaced quickly and professionally. Permit process was handled as well as anything can be in these times. All work passed City Inspection and final inpe tion/permit done in about 3 weeks. Great job by everyone.!!

This company, the owners and staff, are the BEST I have ever worked with. Their customer service is UNBEATABLE!! They stand by their work (which is exemplary) 100%. The first time I called them was 10 pm on a weekend and Tony was about an hour away. He came right away and fixed my problem, which involved a major leak in my old A/C. Trust me, you will never find another company as good as this one (and no, I’m not related to them..I’m just a very satisfied customer)

I came home one night to find my home at a toasty 88 degrees. Not ideal in South Florida. After calling several companies that claimed to be 24/7 but not able to help until the following evening, I found 1-800Air. This company has been our go-to AC company for over a year now. We are incredibly fortunate to have found them as having a reliable AC is only as good as having a reliable and trustworthy AC company to work with; which by the way is hard to come across in South Florida. Tony is our AC tech and we really appreciated how professional he was; he always sends messages reminding us of our appointments and he arrives ON TIME each time. He also is very thorough and informs us of what work was done, ways we can prolong the life of our AC, and a honest recommendation of services down the road if we so choose without coming across pushy. Tony is also very personable; he remembers each of his clients. He always asks us about our family and remembers the little things that go along way. Their pricing on services are very reasonable especially given the highly detail oriented work they put in. If I could rate 10* I would! A couple of months back I was having some issues with one of the AC vents with condensation. I was referred to 1-800Air and I am so glad I was! I'm pretty easy to please as long as the job is done right, but I never needed to worry about that with Raymond, Tony, and Elizabeth on the job! Not only did they work with us since we were hesitant to leave the house during the replacement of the ducts (due to covid), but they provided portable AC units for the bedrooms so we weren't drenched in sweat and miserable while staying in our home for the duration. They ensured everything was clean and looking great during and once finished with the replacement. They also have come back out countless times due to other small things (unrelated to the original job hired for) and have been super friendly, awesomely kind, and I truly will never use another company as long as 1800Air is in business! I'm truly impressed at the level of customer service they provide and how they treat their customers like friends and family. They have gone above and beyond in so many ways and I couldn't be happier. The house has been tremendously cooler since the work was completed and there has even been days where I was freezing and had to adjust the temp higher than normal! They're very knowledgeable, they take the time to explain things without making you feel bad for not knowing what you may be asking, and their technicians are just as great! I highly recommend their company! You won't ever regret it because they make sure the job is done right and that you are comfortable in your home! So happy with this company!

Elizabeth, Raymond and Tony were extremely professional, courteous and reliable. Raymond’s first visit to my home was beyond exceptional. His knowledge on HVAC is very impressive - I’ve never felt so sure on an investment.1-800 Air completely transformed my AC system in my home - added several vent openings, remove the old, worn out ducts, installed brand new ones and as well changed the vents from round to rectangle. The company offered a phenomenal finance option through Synchrony bank which was a huge plus. In addition, Elizabeth accommodated hotel arrangements as well as a cleaning company after the job was complete.Overall, I’m extremely happy with the service provided. My AC was always set to 70° and was barely comfortable. Currently, I sleep comfortably at 77° ; I’m saving tons on electricity!

I thought my dryer vent was clogged so I looked into getting this done. Asked for recommendations on FB and was provided with this company, by the owner. I called and their rate was great and it included a free ac tuneup. It turns out that my dryer vent was pretty clean. However, I was very satisfied with the service from the moment I called for a quote. Elizabeth was kind and helped me setup an appointment for the next day. I received a confirmation text and even a mini bio on the technician, Tony. He was great! He explained and showed me what I needed to know, answered all my questions and also offered additional services that I will look into. I would totally recommend this place.

My brand new AC unit stopped working. The company I bought if from didn't seem to care too much that it was 88 degrees in my house and brushed it off to "It's really hot outside". I went on Thumbtack and thank goodness, the first company to respond was 1-800 Air. They sent Raymond, who made me feel calm and informed on both the fix to my current problem and how to make my home more efficient. Because of him and the time he took to explain things to me, I'm probably going to have him come back and install all new ductwork. If you have an AC problem, you can't go wrong with 1-800Air.

Car had an after hour emergency with our AC. After two failed starts with companies that were unable to make an appointment that we called 1800Air Conditioning. Elizabeth understood the urgency of our need and providing great customer service by working with the tech to get a scene in under 90 minutes.Our appointment was confirmed with a text that included a photo and a brief bio about Tony the tech for our service call. Tony arrived on time and quickly diagnose the problem with our AC and had it working again in under an hour. He even had a few treats in his pocket for our puppy. We were so happy with the service that we received from Elizabeth, Tony and Raymond (photo/bio text was sent for him as well) Who completed a full system check up on a follow up appointment that we now have a service plan with them. On Friday I was headed out for a long weekend when my AC stopped working. It is hard to find a company that is reliable, responsible, and respectful of your time. Used Google to find AC service on a Sunday afternoon after been unable to troubleshoot the unit. They answer the call right away. They showed up when they say they would. They waited for the tenant of the property to get there, since I lived an hour and change away and they were coming in an hour and a half to two hours. They took the time to explain my options and once we agreed in the best option, drove to my house and hour and change so he could get everything ready to order the new unit and have everything needed for a Tuesday installation. They honor the military discount and most importantly made me and the tenant the number one priority. Driving on a Sunday night to make sure everything is done right away so the new tenants are comfortable and the new unit is in place before the old is no longer repairable, that is priceless. Recommended.

We had the unfortunate experience of our AC leaking after hours so we searched for the closest company available and came across 1 800 air. They were very responsive and tony was over in about an hour. After diagnosis he repaired the problem but other things arose. Tony was very patient, determined thorough and accomodating. Fast fwd to a week after the initial problem a decision was made to get a brand new system and tony was very fair and reasonable with pricing. From the first phone call they were amazing! They arrived on time and diagnosed my AC and provided several options for me to choose from. Tony went over what needed to be repaired, it was a major repair but they gave me a fair price so I agreed to the work, this was all at 9pm at night! 1-800Air's 24/7 emergency service is actually 24/7. My grandfather is a diabetic hypoglycemic and can't stand to not have the ac on at all times. And OF COURSE our AC breaks in the middle night.
